This weas in many ways the perfect hotel.to stay in when visiting Boston. HOWEVER be aware there is an "Urban Fee" of $40 added to the bill when you check out. This is in addition to the local tourist taxes that one can expect and accept which amounted to only $6. I feel doubly deceived - firstly Expedia made no mention of this when booking. I did find it on the receipt which, like most people I e pe t, didn’t bother to read. Secondly the hotel staff lied to me and said it was a tourist tax when it is nothing of the sort. It is a "resort fee" to cover various perks the hotel offers (bike hire etc), none of which I used. I feel misinformed and ripped off which has clouded what was otherwise a perfect stay. Is such behaviour really necessary?

Slanted bed??

The only complaint I had was the bed in room 905. The head of the mattress was lower than the foot of the mattress. I had to sleep the opposite way. Don't know if the mattress needed flipped or was it a problem with the frame. Everything else was great. The staff were great. Location, the best.

Great hotel looks like a Marriot off shoot with similar fitout to bedrooms. Good location with great cafe for breakfast around the corner. Walking distance to Boston common and river. Good staff. Street can be noisy so ask for a quiet room if you need to. Would stay again.
